Gut-Body Connection: Preventing Autoimmune Diseases Through Microbiome Health
What if I told you that you have the power to turn on or off the genes for disease within your body?
This is a new and emerging field called epigenetics.
It’s very powerful work.
Instead of identifying with a set of symptoms, a disease, or even the organisms that cause these symptoms and diseases, we should instead focus on the combined genetic material of ALL the organisms within a certain area and seek to “turn over” their genetic code, allowing it to work FOR your health instead of a slow march AGAINST it, which ultimately leads to unnecessary dysfunction and disease.
That’s what today’s show is all about; how the gut and microbiome affects the entire body.
And I break this interaction down so it’s simple to understand.
For starters, the relationship between the microbiome and the body is called the gut-body connection.
The Importance of The Gut-Body Connection
See, your body is SO smart that once it “catches” this new genetic blueprint of health and balance in the gut, it can replicate it in other microbiomes of the body – the lungs, sinuses, skin, genitals, throat, etc. to keep you safe for years to come.
This is about as forward-thinking as prevention gets.
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Tune in to this show to get an understanding of HOW to do this so you don’t have to “get sick” 5, 10, or 20 years down the line.
My goal is to help you understand how much power you truly have to reach not only your genetic potential but also your human potential so you can enjoy your life to the fullest.
Pass it on as well – especially to those couples you know who want to conceive a child soon, as this work is the single best, most effective way to contribute to a child’s health in their adult life before they are even conceived.
This is why Gut Thrive in 5 (GT5) was born.

Hi, I have low IgG, Iga, IgE. I receive IgG infusions. When I get my leaky gut healed, can my cells start to make IgG on their own again?

How to get to the tv date 6/5 on tips for constipation?
Hi Jess! That episode is scheduled to air 6/05/2018.
Hello, I have been suffering for a few years. I believe in my heart the 10 week Gut Thrive program would be a GODsend. There is no way I could afford it. Would you have any other options. It’s been really tough not being able to work but then see something you know in your heart will heal you but not be able to benefit from it? I know and appreciate there is a cost with everything but are we to the point where you have to have a lot of money to be healthy? It’s tough because I can’t afford the program due to health but I can’t earn until I am healthy. It’s a no win situation. Not sure what to do at this point.
This looks the most comprehensive healing journey for somebody who has suffered from constipation all her life and all the consequences that go with it eventually like
Adrenal fatigue, Thyroid problems, leaky gut, Osteoporoses.
When will the next gut thrive in 5 program begin?
Hi Susanne, We no longer take live groups through Gut Thrive in 5 so you can join anytime! ~Stacey, TWJ Team Member
How do I know which journey to take? If I feel healthy, is the Gut Thrive the best one? Will it take care of any candida or sibo if I had any of that and didn’t know it?
Kelly
Hi Kelly, If you suffer from candida or SIBO you’ll ultimately want to do a full gut rejuvenation program like Gut Thrive to get all the way to the root because with a thin gut lining, you leave yourself vulnerable for pathogens to take root and overtake your immune system.
