I can’t wait to try this recipe! Is it okay to use Kerry Gold Cheese instead of raw cheddar cheese? Also, I am currently on the Candida Cleanse. Is it okay to use these cheeses while on the CC?? Thank you for your help!! (Regardless, I’m going to make these without the cheese for sure until I hear back!!) Thanks! 🙂
Hi Amy, During the Candida Cleanse all dairy is out unless it’s high quality raw milk and then, only if you can digest it well. If it’s not raw it’s not allowed during the program. After the cleanse if you can’t find raw milk cheese, then Kerry Gold Cheese, which is from grass-fed cows is the next best thing– just all things in moderation of course:-).~Stacey, TWJ Team Member
I’m making this for the third time in two weeks tonight. These make my family so happy, even without the tortilla and cheese. Something about that slaw is so incredible! Thank you for a delicious recipe. I started the candida cleanse today and my family is following the diet with me. Thanks, TWJ!
Thank you so much, Arionna, for trying our recipes. I’ll pass your accolades on to our chef.
I made these and my family loved them so much that they asked for them the next day as well! Thanks!
